Historic Preservation Grant 2018

Platt Memorial Library Receives Historic Preservation Grant

The Platt Memorial Library was selected as one of 16 Historic Preservation Grants from the Vermont Agency of commerce and Community Development, Division for Historic Preservation. The work for this grant was completed in 2019. The grant provided almost $10,000 in matching funds in order to repair and restore our historic marble front steps, wooden columns, and entryway. Special thanks to the Friends of the Platt Library, Inc. who have helped make this grant possible. If you are interested in the scope of work for this project, that document can be found here: Scope of Work
