Friends of the Platt Fundraiser

15th Annual Shoreham Apple Fest
Sunday, Sept. 15, 2024; 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Shoreham Town Green & Gazebo

Mark your calendars! Celebrate the season with Shoreham's 15th annual Apple Fest, a fundraiser of the Friends of the Platt Memorial Library. Join us for delicious food, live music from Snake Mountain Bluegrass, an apple pie contest, and a farmers' and makers' market at this beloved community event.

The event includes a pulled pork lunch available for purchase (cash only), as well as mac-n-cheese, slaw, apple desserts, cider, and more. Browse the popular farmers' market for fresh fruit and veggies, flowers, handmade gifts, local wine, and more. Enter the 50/50 raffle, enjoy a sno-cone, let your kids explore Shoreham's playground, and relax to music from Snake Mountain Bluegrass.

Are you a great baker? Compete for your spot on the coveted Golden Pie Plate by entering the annual "Best Apple Pie" contest. There will be 2 entry categories: youth (under the age of 16) and adults (16 and older). Individuals or teams are encouraged to enter. Call, email, or stop by the library in Shoreham for entry forms and more information (802-897-2647, plattmemorial.library@gmail.com).

Admission is free, and the event runs — rain or shine! — from noon to four. Lunch available for purchase until the food runs out. For more information about Apple Fest call the Platt Memorial Library  at 897-2647.
