Our summer reading program theme is all about art and artists this year. That means, activities, programs, classes, and storytimes!
Our 5-week program is packed with fun things for all ages.

Pick up your copy of Botticelli's Apprentice (a graphic novel for kids ages 8-12) for our book discussion on Thursday, July 24th from 5-6pm.

Comic Art Workshop (ages 9 and up) June 30th 3-5pm

Folk Art Painting part 1 with Ms. Kim (ages 5 and up) July 2nd 3-4pm

4th of July Storytime (ages 0-5 with their parents or caregivers) July 3rd 10am

Wicked (rated PG) Movie Afternoon - Sat. July 5th 1-4pm

Adult Egg Tempera Painting Class - M-F 7/7 - 7/11 9am - 10am (adults only)
Discover the art of egg tempera paint with Jenny Muskopf.

Make-Your-Own Belt - Mon. July 7th 6:30pm (ages 9 and up)
Join Stuart Lilie, Saddler, and learn some basic

Needle-Felted Chick Workshop - Mon. July 14th - 6-8pm (for adults) Create a cute, needle-felted chick. Supplies cost $20. Registration required.

Reading Incentive Program

Meet your reading goals at this summer!

Pick up your paper and stickers at the library to track your reading. Read from the end of school until August 2nd and put a sticker on your sheet for every 15 minutes you read. When you've read 300 minutes (20 stickers), you can come to the library to turn in your minutes and pick a prize.

You can also spend your minutes on raffle tickets for our SUMMER OF SQUISH raffle drawings. We'll draw tickets for Squishmallow stuffed animals on August 2nd...including a GIANT Squishmallow!
